CSCS Red Technical, Supervisor, Managers Card

The CSCS Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager Card is a temporary construction site certification for experienced technical workers, supervisors and managers in the UK construction industry who are working towards an approved qualification. It allows individuals with on-site experience to continue working legally and safely while completing their NVQ or SVQ.

CSCS Red Technical, Supervisor, Managers Card Eligibility

To apply for this CSCS card, you must meet the following requirements:

Relevant on-site experience — Normally at least one year of construction experience within the last three years.
Registered for a qualification — Enrolled in an approved construction-related Technical, Supervisory or Management (TSM) NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or higher.
CITB health and safety test — Passed the appropriate CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for supervisors or managers within the last two years.

You must also be able to provide proof of course registration from your training provider when submitting your application.

About The CSCS Red Technical, Supervisor, Managers Card

The Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager Card is part of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) — the leading scheme for validating skills, experience and health and safety competence on UK construction sites. It is designed for professionals who have significant work history but have not yet achieved the required construction-related NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.

This card is valid for three years and must be upgraded to a full Skilled Supervisor or Manager card once the qualification is completed.

CSCS Red Technical, Supervisor, Managers Card

Card validity: 3 years (non-renewable).

Complete your qualification: You should finish your NVQ/SVQ within the card’s validity period.

Upgrade your card: Once qualified, you can apply for a full Skilled Supervisor or Manager CSCS card, which has a longer validity and higher status.
