How to obtain a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card

There are two necessary qualifications you will need for your CSCS Skilled Worker Card application. Firstly, you will need to pass the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment Operatives test. The test can be completed at the certified test centre of your choice. You will need to keep a copy of your CITB test score report, which is valid for 2 years, for your CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card application.

Additionally, you need to have completed an NVQ Level 2 Award or an equivalent qualification as a Bricklayer. There are various ways to obtain this qualification, but many applicants will have completed this as a college diploma.

Before you apply for the CSCS card for Bricklayers, it is required that you complete the correct CITB Health, Safety and Environment test. For a Bricklayer, the standard CITB test for Operatives is suitable.
