About the Surveyor CSCS Card

It is important that you have the correct CSCS card certifying your qualifications before you can be considered for work on any jobsite, major or minor, in the UK. CSCS cards are recognised nation-wide, for both public and private construction sites. A CSCS Manager Card, often called the CSCS Black Card, will show you are qualified as a Surveyor. How to obtain a Manager or Supervisory CSCS Card

You will need at least two mandatory qualifications in order to apply for a CSCS Card. You will need one of CSCS’ approved qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3 or higher in the correct discipline, or an approved apprenticeship/degree. These can be completed in college or university.

You will also need to take the mandatory CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test or CITB Specialist Supervisory Health, safety and environment test, whichever responds to the card you are pursuing.
