CITB Test Information

To get a CSCS Card you must complete a CITB Health, Safety and Environment test. The test takes 45 minutes. It is a multiple choice test with 50 questions. You must get 45 out of 50 to pass. The CITB test can be taken at over 150 test centres nationwide.

What to Expect in the Test
When you arrive, the on-site staff will check your ID, confirm that you have arranged to take the exam at that time, and then take a photo as per safety regulations. The test itself takes 45 minutes to complete and includes 50 multiple-choice questions. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of achievement that shows your score.
If you fail, you can always re-register to take the next exam three days after the first exam. You are strongly advised to purchase revision material to help you prepare for retaking the test.

What to Take With You
You must bring acceptable identification. If you do not have a valid ID, you will not be able to take the exam (without exception). The most commonly accepted forms of identification include your UK driving license or passport.
If you do not have either, you need to provide two alternative forms of identification. Acceptable documents include:

●        Credit or debit cards
