Choosing the Right Plasterer CSCS Card
- Red Card – The red card is designed for trainees. If you are just starting a career in plastering and you have yet to gain any NVQ qualifications, this is the right card for you to apply for.
- Blue Card – If you hold a Level 2 NVQ/SVQ qualification in a field that is relevant to plastering, you can apply for a Blue Plasterer CSCS Card. This card is designed for skilled workers.
- Gold Card – With a Level 4 technical/supervisory NVQ/SVQ certificate and supervisory experience, a Gold CSCS Card is the right choice for you. If you don't have a Level 4 NVQ/SVQ qualification but you have a Level 3 Occupation Work Supervision certificate, you can still apply for a Gold card.
- Black Card – Plasterers who have managerial experience and a degree, HNC or HND qualification can apply for a Black CSCS Card.
