If this will be the first time you are sitting your CITB test, you may be wondering what to expect. While we can’t tell you exactly what questions you’ll have to answer, we can tell you a little bit about the format of the test, how long it takes and what you will need to do in order to pass:
- Computer-Based, Multiple Choice Test – The CITB HSE test is also known as the CITB touch screen test, due to the nature of the test.
- 50 Questions, With 45 Minutes to Answer – You will have three-quarters of an hour to answer the 50 multiple-choice questions, touching the screen to indicate your choices for each one.
- Certificate Issued After Completing the Test – As soon as you have completed the test, your certificate, showing your results, will be printed out and presented to you.
- Can Retake in 3 Days if You Do Not Pass First Time – In the unlikely event that you do not pass your CITB test first time, you can enrol to take it again in 3 days.
