If you are looking to obtain a Blue Painting CSCS card, there are certain requirements that must be met in order to be eligible. Firstly, having a valid CSCS card in another trade is an absolute must. As well as this, applicants must have completed the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment Operatives Test; which should be renewed every five years in order for the card to remain valid.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age; if they have not yet reached 18 years of age then written permission from a parent or guardian is required in order to apply for the card.
