How to obtain a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card

There are two necessary qualifications to attain for your Blue Skilled Worker card. Firstly, you will need to hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Many workers attain this through a college diploma.

Additionally, you will need to pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test. It is mandatory that anyone applying for a CSCS card also has passed the appropriate CITB test. In the case of a Joiner, this would be the standard CITB Health, Safety & Environment test for Operatives.

Joiners must take the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test for Operatives. This is the most common test type, consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions. You must score at least 45/50 or 90% in order to pass.
