HVACR CSCS Card
Book Your HVACR CSCS Card Test
HVACR workers of all levels of experience and skills really need a relevant CSCS card in order to obtain work on UK construction sites. If you have yet to acquire an HVACR CSCS Card, you can book a test on our website right now. But first, you need to establish which card is the right option for you. There are a number of different types available, for workers with varying levels of experience and qualifications.
Which HVACR CSCS Card Is Right for You?
If you are a trainee or apprentice, you can apply for a Red CSCS Card. If you are still considered an unskilled HVACR worker but you are no longer a trainee, a Green CSCS Card is probably the best option. If you are already a skilled technician, you can apply for a Blue CSCS Card. Supervisors should aim to obtain a Gold CSCS Card whilst those in managerial positions should really be looking to acquire a Black CSCS Card.
Eligibility for HVACR CSCS Card Applications
Depending on the type of card you apply for, you may have to show evidence of existing qualifications before you can book your test. For example: an RQF Level 1, SCQF Level 4/5 or NOCN health and safety qualification is required if you wish to apply for a Green Card. Blue Card applicants need to show proof of NVQ/SVQ Level 2 qualifications whilst Gold Card applicants either need an NVQ/SVQ Level 4 supervisory/technical qualification or a Level 3 Occupation Work Supervision certificate. Black Card applicants should hold a degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant field. Once you decide which card you wish to apply for, you are welcome to contact us for clarification if you are not sure which qualifications you need to have before taking your test.
