CSCS cards are intended to prevent unqualified, poorly trained individuals from causing mishaps on construction sites. Most UK construction sites today require them. To obtain a CSCS card you must take the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test. You can take this test at over 150 CITB Test centres nationwide including in Aylesbury.
What to Expect in the Test In Aylesbury
The CITB test consists of 50 multiple choice questions related to construction health and safety. You are given 45 minutes to complete as many of the questions as you can. At the conclusion of the test, you will be presented with a results certificate.
What to Take With You
In order to be seated for the CITB test, you must bring a valid form of ID to show to the staff. Valid forms of ID are a UK driving license or a UK passport.
Should you have neither you will need to produce 2 alternative forms of ID. Acceptable alternative IDs include an EU Country Card, a British Armed Forces card, a debit or credit card or a bank statement. To see a full list of acceptable alternative IDs see our
FAQs page.
What to do Before Going to the Aylesbury Test Centre
The most important thing you can do in the runup to the test is to revise. Most who fail the test did not revise prior to taking it. If you need help, revision aids are available
